Rebecca Glaspy is a natural dye, fiber artist and owner and operator of Local Motive, a natural dye, embroidery and sewing company in Taylorsville and Plumas County, Ca since 2013.  She dyes all of her silk, wool, and cotton fabrics with plants, flowers and minerals to achieve brilliant color without using any synthetic dyes or materials.  The connection to plants, color, and “slow” fashion are what motivates her to keep creating, experimenting, and innovating in her craft.
